Contents overview

The focus of the course is on acquiring competences in the ERP area using the example of the ERP system of SAP AG. The interrelationships within the system are explained on the basis of various case studies and deepened through accompanying exercises. The use of ERP systems in production and logistics is dealt with in greater depth.

Integrated business information systems (ERP systems)

As an integral, theoretical component of the course, attendance of the course Integrated Business Information Systems (Link) (lecture and exercise for chapter 3) is compulsory, as it is relevant for the exam. Please also plan time for attending this lecture.

Learning objectives

Ability to work with the software system SAP across the board and not only in individual application areas. Giving a general overview of business processes by means of the market-leading information system. Implementation of practical problems on the basis of case studies in solution concepts that can be mapped in information systems.
