Contents overview

The content spectrum of business informatics as an interface between the individual disciplines of economics is broad. Business informatics is characterised in particular by the high dynamics of new developments in both the technical and application areas. In the seminar, therefore, the current trends, not only but especially in business informatics, are taken up and dealt with in individual and group work. The focus is on the effects that modern information and communication technologies have on the various entrepreneurial areas. In doing so, not only the advantages resulting from the innovations will be examined, but also the problem areas that result from an unreflective application of technical innovations.

Learning objectives

Ability to independently familiarise oneself with previously unknown subject areas. Acquisition of analytical skills for the critical and unbiased assessment of technologies, innovations, entrepreneurial situations, etc. with regard to different perspectives.
